Founded in 1944, Bethany Christian Services is a nonprofit adoption and family services agency that offers pregnancy counseling and support services. The organization provides evaluation, health care and legal assistance services. It also offers housing assistance, referral and hospital visitation services. Bethany Christian Services provides medical care and family assessment services. In addition, the organization offers facilitation of communication between adoptive families and birthparents. Bethany Christian Services serves more than 30,000 individuals every year. Its members include the National Council for Adoption, Christian Charities USA, Independent Charities of America, North American Association of Christian Social Workers and North American Council on Adoptable Children.
