My grandmother recently passed away, and because I am living abroad, I was unable to make it to the service.



I was recommended to Jimtown Florist by the funeral home. At first I had planned on using 1-800 Flowers or FTD, but I wanted to support local businesses so decided to call I Jimtown first.



I am so glad I did. From the moment Teressia (pronounced Theresa) picked up the phone, I knew that I could count on her service. She was patient, knowledgeable, and extremely polite.



I gave her a description of what I was looking for and asked her an opinion between a memorial basket and an urn. She was very honest and told me that at the price point I was looking at I could get a very beautiful basket. She told me that if I wanted to spend more there were more expensive arrangements, but assured me that the basket would be a good choice.



I trusted Theresa's opinion and ordered a large memorial basket with lilies, roses, larkspurs and filler.



Just as promised she sent me a picture of the basket by cell phone when it was done. The flowers were simple and classy, in a traditional way to fit with my grandmother's background and lifestyle. This arrangement was much prettier than any I had ordered in the past by phone at the same price point and was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.



I was thrilled with Jimtown Florist's service, and in the future, I will always try local first.
