All the vets are wonderful especially Dr Jason who is our furbabies primary doctor. Our kitty Audrey has allergies and arthritis. She has monthly allergy injections. It has been a long road narrowing down the specific things she was allergic to. Not just inside, but outside as well because she gets supervised sittings on the deck.
They take all our concerns seriously and understand how precious our cats are to us as I'm sure they are to others.
I have found their prices to be comparable to or less than other veterinary services.

Dr. Jason and the staff are amazing! They are caring and so kind to our pampered pooch. Our dog goes for regular acupuncture treatments for her back and is never scared when the staff picks her up from the car. In fact, they carry her in their arms and you can see them petting and talking to her as they go inside. Dr. Jason always explains things thoroughl and takes the time to anser aa of my questions

Top notch vets who we’ve been seeing for more than 22 years. Good diagnosticians, surgeons, and even acupuncturists. Not afraid to call MSU vets for backup. Have come to house twice to put old dogs to rest with no rush. Dr Pat waited w/my husband for me to come 50 miles home to say goodbye. Yes, pricey. Yes, worth every dime.❤️❤️❤️

I reviewed this office 2yrs ago, and I still believe the same. They are a great group of professionals that show genuine care and concern for the animals and the clients.
I had one of my beloved pets die in the past couple years, and one of the staff Cheryl was so sweet she had an imprint of my pets paw put into plaster and her name added to it along with a beautiful card! All so I would have a momento of her.
I have always had the staff and Drs be very compassionate and willing to go above and beyond for their clients. I now have them taking good care of my next 2 adopties.

I brought my cat into Blackman Animal Clinic for her shots,,,I was charged $88.00 for first visit and then a 3 week follow up for a booster. Before leaving the office I asked the receptionist what the cost would be for her follow up visit. She explained to me that she was only getting a booster shot so she didn't need a wellness check from the vet so it would be $25 for the visit. Well,,,the follow up cost 63.00!!! Dr. Emily Standafer came in, looked at my cats eyes and gave her the booster shot. I was charged for a wellness check, even though three weeks prior I was told her shot did not have to be given by the vet and it would only cost $25. I have tried to get my $38 dollars back that I was not supposed to pay but to no avail!! They could care less,,,they are dishonest and I regret going to this clinic! Needles to say I have transferred my pets back to the clinic where I have been happy for the past 20 years and should never have left to begin with.

We took Riley in as he was clearly not feeling well. Dr. Susie was very gentle and caring with Riley and explained very clearly what she thought may be happening. She performed a procedure during our visit and we took our little guy home. The next morning he was back to normal. I have taken my pets to BAC for over 20 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was met me at the counter to very promptly check my pet in. Because my cat is 16 years old and VERY timid; I requested to let him stay in his carrier in the car until the Dr. was actually available. They even honored my request that I stay with my cat in my car and came out to get me when Dr. Pat was ready to see us.
My cat was diagnosed with a GI infection (when I thought it was his hips hurting). I don't like using antibiotics on myself for the side effect of yeast overgrowth, which would only compound what was already occurring for my kitty. Dr. Pat listened, honored my concerns, and put my cat on a PRO-biotic rather than an anti-biotic!!! I LOVE this practice and Dr. Pat is exceedingly gracious to allow us as pet "parents" to talk things through to a perfect outcome for all! My cat was showing signs of recovery within less 24 hours!
GREAT health care and phenomenal group to work with!!! So much more than I could ask for!!! Thank you Blackman Pet Clinic!

RE: Follow up check! Dr. Pat again saw my cat for this visit - completely "checked him out"! My cat had very notably improved; as Dr. Pat remembered having seen him 2 1/2 weeks prior to rechecking him. That was amazing in itself! I shared with Dr. what I was seeing improving and he confirmed it! He was glad to see my cat improving so much and so fast in Sleepy's advanced years of age. Truly an honoring, genuinely concerned, animal loving group to care for your companion animal friends!!!

My almost 14-yr-old dachshund, Jake, has not been feeling well and I've been working with three of the vets at BAC; they're being so helpful and patient (with me!) - Dr. Christie spent almost an hour with us last week! Jake seems to be feeling somewhat better after taking the meds prescribed. I'm confident with the help of everyone at BAC, Jake will be back to his old self soon! The office staff is SO helpful, too! They go out of their way to take care of your needs in a friendly and caring manner!

Caring and helpful. They answer questions that might not concern the current visit. They don't give just one expensive treatment option for my pet but offer multiple treatments at levels i can afford.
