RIP OFF!!!!DO NOT GO THERE!!!DO NOT PAY THEM!!!!!!

I went there last Sunday 9/22/2013. When we opened the door they were like omg you child is beautiful !!! We will put him in magazines next week! One of the agents –Bill Davis (it’s probably not his real name) took us to his office and the guy gave my son some toys. Then he showed us single pages from magazines saying that his company placed these people there!!!!he was like look at this and that...your kid will make from $50-$250per hr. just sign the contract and we are all set....and right there I knew it’s a scam!!!i asked him if my child will need the entertainment work permit and he asked me what it was!!!!!Really???!!!! then I asked him how this company works and he said that we have to pay $1500 so they can take pictures and put them on their horrible website. I told him I will not pay it, then he said $1000...i said no, he said how about $750. i said no.... i told him i will take his business card and do research about the company and I will call him next week. he said “NO…. you are not ready to do this” then he turned to my son and asked him to return all the toys and asked us to leave!!!!! WAW!!really!!!when we left, I Google them and guess what- the first thing I saw was the RIP OFF REPORT!!!They do not even have their own domain; their email address is on Gmail!!!!Hopefully this will tell you something!!!

PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE!!!NO LEGITIMATE COMPANY WOULD ASK FOR MONEY!!!!!

RIP OFF!!! Thousands of dollars down the drain!! Never got called for a job! They make you brainwash you into believing that you should pay almost 1000 to put your picture on their website and their website looks like it was created in the 80's!!

It's amazing how none of those five star reviews mention that they wanted the clients to pay over $900 for them to make the composite picture. And if we said no they made the parent feel like we just really didn't care about our child interest in modeling.



Always heard if they ask for money before booking a job for the client it's ALWAYS a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!

LOL look at that dates on the last 15+ entries-all the exact same date and time, coming from the owner. Believe it all you want, they are scamming you!!!! Ultimate modeling scam. They make no money from bookings-the most they book are really budget independent films/extra work, which you can get on your own and not have to pay all their crazy fees to do!

It was hard for me to find an agency to fit my standards. However, CMT represented all kinds of talent, which was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to them I booked plenty of gigs, enough for me not to have to struggle to pay my rent!

I attended a show that CMT was apart of since tons of their models were walking. The show was incredible, but the models were even better. Their walks were on point, and they kept a great poker face. I met Jackie after the show and knew that I had to work with her! I told her I wanted to book some of her models for an ad campaign I was working on.

CMT really helped my daughter and I out. She was looking at different companies on line, and after reading some strange reviews, she was reluctant, but wanted to see it for herself. And she was glad she did! They made sure I was very comfortable while they spoke with her. Afterward, my daughter came out a whole new person! she didn't want to speak with any other company. CMT was the one. The best part was that they booked her right away for Vibe Magazine

Before you start bad-mouthing a company, I would highly suggest that you compare apples to apples before you rate a company and quote someone like Tyra Banks. City Model and Talent is not an Agency nor do they market or represent themselves in that manner. City Model and Talent is solely a scouting company that works with licensed agencies in New York. You state that you were promised big things - that is completely incorrect as none of the employees at City Model and Talent promise anything!!!!



You a cruel to deface City Model and Talent when clearly you know nothing about them!!! Shame on YOU!

Trya banks said it the best if a modeling agency asks you for money walk away. Well I fell into this agency's trap of promise's and spent over $700 for nothing. Be very careful about this agency if you go there and they start talking to you about all the great things they could do for you if you pay a certain amount, hold on to your wallet and run and don't turn back.
