Please do not send your child there for after school or camp! The camp is not structure, the kids do what they want, it's kids taking care of kids. The director Todd and Millissa lies to cover their butt. They call u on your job for small problems because their not structure quoted by Miliisa in a convosation we had about what are the discipline method..She advise this is not structure like a school setting. if your child get in trouble, the automatic target your child if they get in trouble more then once. my child is k5 child and its big kig picking on little kids. you tell the staff they act as if they control the situation but I her my child tell me again this child bullying her or say mean things. my child does great at her regular school and when she get to the YMCA, by 3 pm , I am at my desk at work on edge..I decide to remove her, and my membership.Beware people! I know there cheaper.. But it kids taking care of kids.Find a after school or champ that take pride in your chid

A member for 7 years. Comparing it to the Ys in Atlanta, where the water is less than 4 feet deep in the whole pool; this pool is big and deep, and in a 3/4 glass enclosed area. Nice. But in the winter, the sole lifeguard gets hot, and opens the door, though there is a sign saying not to do this, and a cold breeze goes through that end of the pool giving earaches to the old and young. The pool IS heated to about 82. There often is a strong chlorine smell, which means the chlorine is bound with contamination. Great, individual, private, family dressing rooms in addition to the norm. BUT there are "entitled" people that break the rules + don't use them. Steam room has been broken on + off MOST of the time. But ALL of the time, the shower stalls are dirty. The curtains, walls + floors have mold on them. I have repeatedly brought it to their attention, and continually been given an excuse. Crime is becoming more and more a problem. First none, then in the parking lot, now in the gym

Joined this SPECIFIC YMCA in October 2012 for exercise classes, and access to the STEAM ROOM & SAUNA, which is the pay-off at end of workouts in my opinion. the Group classes are awesome & equpiment/staff friendly; however, The Steam room was broken from day one, but management & staff swore it was going to be fixed in December. In January, still not working. MGT put out note that repairs would be complete by mid January. As of this past Thursday Feb 6, 2013...both steam room & sauna are broken & know word on when or if they will fix it. MGT doesn't seem to want to spend the money to repair them. I feel like I am not getting what I paid for and am not happy that they have huge membership enrollments --can't even get a parking space on weekdays (day or evenings)-- so what are they spending ththatmembership money on???
