        Artistic Minds offers the North Alabama community an environment conducive to self-paced acquiring of fine art training. The foundation of realistic drawing and shading, perspective and portrait is a structured course. After the foundation is laid in drawing, the student will learn color theory with the use of color pencils. The next step is mastering control of a brush, through water color followed by acrylic paint. Creative expression is encouraged and supported in the community and fellowship of fellow students. Students have said that this class is their "Me" time, their 1 1/2 hours out of the week that they can loose themselves in art. U Paint nights are also offered. Choose a painting from our website, choose a time, & invite your friends. We will help you step by step to complete your painted masterpiece! A fun night with friends:) Artistic Minds offers a gallery of acrylic and oil paintings, custom art, charcoal portraits, and murals. Art Camps are a favorite in the Summer! Camps are for ages 5-16. Private Birthday Parties, group events, etc. We will customize the party to meet your needs.

        I have taken an art class here and now my daughter is taking one. We both have enjoyed it and learned a lot!

        Don't bring your young kids here. They basically gave my kids a printed out coloring page of the united states and had them color the states in. I have coloring books at home that I bought from the dollar store that had more interesting pictures in them. This seemed just incredibly lazy like maybe they forgot to prepare for the class and printed something quickly off the computer to keep the kids busy. And when I said I was unhappy with the value for my money, they refused to give me a refund for the month I had payed for in advance. Stay away with your younger kids, this is a rip off and they could care less about good customer relations.
