General Info: Roy K. Davis Bus is a division of Huntington Coach Corporation. Founded in 1928 as a company that provided public transit, Huntington Coach Corporation provides local school transportation. The company is a primary transportation service for the school district of Huntington Station, N.Y., as well as many of the surrounding areas. It operates a fleet of more than 450 large buses and smaller vans. The vehicles are equipped with seat belts, high-backed seats and two-way radios. Each driver is subject to drug testing, fingerprinting and background checks. In addition, drivers must complete a yearly physical by the state s Department of Motor Vehicles and possess a commercial driver s license. The company also maintains a safety and training division for road surveillance and accident investigation.
