I had been shopping at another grocery store and once in a while Albertson's. I live in Oregon now and shop at the Albertson's in Bend, Or. Today I was at another grocery store and when I was writing my check I was told they did not accept out of state checks even though I have shopped at this named store in San Francisco for over 40 years. I left my groceries and drove over to Albertson's and was informed there was absolutely no problem! So, from now on you have a loyal customer who will shop exclusively at Albertson's in CA and OR - the Huntington Beach staff was courteous and friendly and took the edge off of my humiliation from being turned down somewhere else.
