"The Academy of Shorin-Ryu Karate is excellent school where adults and children can learn a martial art that is both practical and traditional. There is personal attention for each and every student from the instructors. From a parents perspective, I have watched my children grow and thrive at the school as they have developed and honed their skills and maturity over the last 8 years. It has been a great experience for me and my family. Much is expected of each student in each and every class as the instructors lead classes that both increase skill and physical fitness levels. There is a clear curriculum and students will progress each at their own pace under the guidance of the instructors. It is not an easy path to each new belt level - advancement requires hard work and dedication – the belts are earned, not given. Sensei Karl has created a school with an excellent learning environment and provides very high quality instruction."
