Crystal Hot Springs

My entire family (over 30 people) recently used this dive for a family reunion, and we had used this facility in the past for other reunions. The bathrooms/shower areas (used for campers not the pool area) were disgusting and not usable. A Union Pacific Train passes within 200 yards 4-5 times a day and it blows its horn, even at 3, 4, and 5am. Sleep is impossible. The pools have loose tiles, rust-like rings around them, and the ramps/stairs leading to slides are worn and improperly maintained. The locker rooms have box fans on constatnly to help hide the mildew-like smell hidden in the floor and walls. You pay $25 per night for your camping spot then you also have to pay over $6 per day, per person, to use the swimming facilities. With a little TLC, hard work, and cooperation from Union Pacific this campground could be great but as of this year it is far from great. We will not hold another reunion there unless upgrades are made.
