I went into this post office expecting to overnight some packages for my family that I recently moved away from. This is the first time I cannot make it home for the holidays and really wanted the cookies I was mailing to be there for Christmas. Unfortunately, the price was much more than expected. The woman behind the counter asked me if I was sending them to my family, asked if this was my first time away for the holidays, and said to me, "as a mother, I wouldn't mind that they were a day late. If you miss your family this much, they miss you equally." I cannot thank her enough for coming around the counter and giving me the "mom" hug that she knew I needed. It was the best customer service I've ever received, I wish I would have gotten her name. I hope she and her family have a Merry Christmas.
