I was referred to BVS, specifically to Dr. Moore for a consult regarding my dog's rear leg injury. Our Vet Dr. also forwarded him all my pet's medical and x-ray records so that he could study them and provide the best possible medical advise on how to proceed with my dog's treatment. We also made an appointment to see him so that we could meet with him to go over all the possible medical options available. But instead of meeting with us and/or providing the requested consult to our Vet., he had his receptionist call us to tell us he couldn't help us. When we asked to speak to him, we were refused and told he was too busy to talk to us or our doctor. I cant believe the rudeness and unprofessional of this so called "Specialist". Maybe that's how things are done in the great "Down Under" where he comes from. But at least here in the good old USA our professionals Veterinarians have if not the ethical obligation but at least the courtesy and training to get on the phone with a respective client and advise them accordingly and not send their receptionist to do their dirty work. Talk about inappropriate and heartless, these guys apparently wrote the book on it. Save yourself some time and grief and avoid this place like heart worm.

I highly recommend Broward Veterinary Specialists for your pets needs. My dog Paco is a complicated case who has seen various vets for a multitude of problems. He saw Dr. Moore on Friday and I was so impressed by how loving, caring, and professional the staff at BVS is. Dr. Moore took his time to explain his findings and answer all of my questions. He was very thorough, understanding, and supportive. I will definitely be coming back for veterinary services. The front desk staff was also very attentive and caring. Great job guys! I am so happy my Paco recieved such amazing care!

Run away! She gives you hope, you start treatment and then: "your pet is not responding, not so lucky". Money oriented, nothing else. Cannot forgive myself that we went there and lost our Love ...

I lost my baby little Angel one week ago due to a bad diagnosis on this place. Rebecca Seaman made and ultrasound and x-Rays and came with the conclusion that my baby had in other words CANCER as well as diffuse pulmonary lymphoma, hepatomegaly, mineralization within the gallbladder and probable mineralization of coronary arteries, tachypneic, tachycardia, regional lymphadenopathy, small intestine mass ( cancer) regional peritonitis, etc etc. due to long use of prednisone for IBD. She recommended us to put him to sleep as soon as possible and gave him buprenex( by the way a narcotic stronger that morphine).

Me were devastated and thought that we are going to take care of him with holistic care until we have to put him to sleep. My Angel was doing fine eating a lot, good energy, for three months which was a miracle for us due to that poor prognosis made. However, he suddenly vomited for a couple of days and stop eating and we took him to the hospital thinking that it is time to let him go. In this clinic, they made another ultrasound and X-Rays and what a surprise that my baby was fine on all his organs, lungs, liver, heart, ALL!!! except his small intestine walls were severe thickening due to severe/advance form of IBD.

We tried to help our baby, with an aggressive treatment for IBD, pet nutritionist, probiotics. However, he already had a massive weight lost and was not able to fight with this illness.

I regret every single day for believe in this bad prognosis and do not ask for a second opinion on time when my baby had the strength and weight to fight for this disease.

I regret to believe what a doctor told us that only one drug can help, when there are a few more options available when you are lucky enough to visit the right doctor on time.

I was referred to Broward Vet Specialists by my "regular" veterinarian, when she did an inital diagnosis of Bone Cancer in the leg of my 15 yo Cat. From walking into the beautiful facilities for our consultation with Dr Seaman, I knew I had made a good choice in following Dr Perez's advice. The staff was kind, compassionate & caring.

Dr Seaman had thrououghly reviewed the chart, x-rays & lab reports. She held "Mooch" in her lap and explained to me, clearly the diagnosis, treatment & prognosis. She suggested, if I could wait for 10-15 minutes, Dr. Moore would be out of surgery and I could speak to him.

My instincts were right on, Dr Moore as just as kind & compassionate (and skilled I was to find out).

I made the very difficult decision to go ahead with the surgery on Mooch. The entire staff has taken remarkable care of him & ME! Mooch spent 2 days & 1 night and came home today. He is calm, resting and well treated & cared for.

I just received a personal call (after hours) from Dr Moore, checking to see how "the patient" was doing.

If you have the need for the specialized services offered by Broward Veterinary Specialists I urge you to consult with them before any decision.
