Overall

Disorganized, unprofessional business. They did not honor my reservation despite requiring a credit card number to make sure I SHOWED UP! I am a professional and my schedule is usually tight. After waiting for 20 minutes PAST my appointment time and still no therapist, I had to return to my day's other activities.

By the way, their website advertises "One Hour Massage Sessions". WRONG - they only offer 55 minutes.

Fortunately there is a professionally run studio just east of Massage Life Center; it's called Institute of Bodywork Studies.

Massage Life Center

Swedish Massage
This is the most common type of massage, used to relax the whole body with strokes along the grain of the muscles. Swedish massage is ideal for improving circulation, reducing muscle tension, and decreasing toxins in the body.
Deep Tissue Massage
The facility is great. Love the time in the relaxation/whisper room. The neck wrap is a great benefit. The therapist, however, was not a fit for me. When I made the appointment, I specifically requested someone that does a great deep tissue massage. I was assured that this therapist was great. When Derrick and I discussed my needs, I made it clear that I NEEDED deep tissue, target area of need was between the shoulder blades and spine. I also specified that the long, lotion applying strokes do me no good. He said 'you just tell me what you want or what I need to change'. After several minutes of 'long, lotion applying strokes' and spending time on my lower back area, I reset expectations. He made the change for a while, but then resorted back to his comfort level of massage. Derrick was nice but did not provide the level of massage that I requested or expected. Everything else was great.

Couples Massage
My wife and I came in to do couples massage. Understandably we couldn’t do couples due to the Pandemic at hand. We both came out felling refreshed and relaxed. We will definitely be back for the recommendation given to us by the staff.
Full Body Massage
Whitney gave a great full-body massage. I'd highly recommend her and use her again. The only down-side is the sales pitch to add oils etc for an additional charge and the sales-pitch if you are not a member. I'd love it if there was not a membership fee and there were set prices for the type of massage wanted. I would have scheduled a 2nd massage if there were set prices.

I came to Massage Life tonight with clogged sinuses and after a wonderful foot neck back and face massage feel much much better. The treatment here is so personalized and I always feel I get my money's worth. All of the staff is friendly and professional. I will continue to get my Massages from Massage Life.

Body Wrap
I really loved coming to this place. It was very zen and everyone there was so awesome and kind. Gary my massage therapist was great and gave me good advice on how often I should have my massages. I can't wait to go back and follow up with my body wraps. I would definitely recommend this place to all.

I have to say I’m absolutely impressed. I’ve had a shoulder injury for over 2 years and have tried steroid shots, physical therapy and even acupuncture but nothing worked. My range of motion was limited. Whatever David did to it my shoulder is now like new! Unbelievable.
