Beer & Wine Depot

I had never been to any other store than Wal-Mart to buy wine or beer, so I was very excited about the Beer & Wine Depot opening in Hewitt.

At first I did not know how to go about buying my alcohol beverages from the Beer & Wine Depot. I drove around the building and then realized the business is actually a drive-thru.

The employee was extremely nice and said that she was not a beer or wine drinker, so she could not give us advice on what we might like to try. Also, that we might pay a little more than if we were to go to a store because we are being serviced. I would not mind paying more for service, if I was able to get answers about the taste of the selection of wines and beers.

We were not able to have a menu to take home; they were out.

The business itself is small but has a big personality ; with palm trees and lots of decal on the walls in the drive-thru. They have great prices ; ranging from $5 for a chilled or non-chilled bottle of wine, to $40 for a boxed wine with a great selection and a variety of local wines, also the business sells regular sodas and chips.

Overall, I did enjoy the Beer & Wine Depot because the female employee was incredibly hospitable, but I will have to research wine tastes on Google before I make another visit.
