This is the shoddiest workmanship I have ever seen. Please take a look at the pictures that prove my point--and there are more that could not be uploaded. Alex Mohammadi mis-measured at least three pieces of granite or quartz. He hired Justin Gleason who made the biggest mess of my bathroom tile I have ever seen: Uneven, sloppy grouting; horrible cuts; damaged drywall; tile pieces put on backwards. Alex Mohammadi claimed Justin Gleason is a master plumber, but there is now knocking in the kitchen faucet that was not there prior to his work. He was consistently at least one hour late every single day, with nothing but excuses. He left to go to Home Depot, less than ten minutes away, and two hours later I had to call him to find out where he was. He claimed he "found out" he had a meeting. He lost three hours of work time that day. Alex Mohammadi had his workers cut an eight-inch widespread faucet after I asked for a four-inch. I had to hire a competent contractor to undo the damage that both Alex Mohammadi and Justin Gleason did. My new contractor had me run my hand along the caulking of the undermount sinks. All three sinks are unevenly attached. Both Alex Mohammadi and Justin Gleason insisted on cash or checks made out to "Cash"--I suppose they are hiding money from the IRS. Insult to injury, the workers had no respect for my home. They damaged my hardwood floors by not making any attempt to cover them. They did not cover anything. They left filth everywhere they worked. Two weeks later I am discovering thick, black dust from granite that covers every surface anywhere near where they worked--even on upholstered furniture. Beware of this company. Their work is horrendous. Be very careful, because shady business people often change company names to run from the reviews.

Worst possible experience. They installed my granite crooked (by 3 inches!) and had to battle to have them come out and fix it. After they manhandled and scratched all of my new BBQ equipment, they left epoxy all over the new granite which they told me to fix. My granite cracked within 45 days of installation. Alex did not return phone calls or show up to fix it. Blamed everyone else for the problem and never accepted responsibility. The other reviewers on here are his friends/employees. My contractor even said Alex asked him to "write a good review" to counter-act the negative reviews. As you can see, my general contractor has NOT done so. Cannot be more upset about my experience.

Great price and service! Alex and his team did a great job installing my new granite counter! Did a lot of checking around and Art Home Design has the best price in the entire Detroit area! Thanks again to Alex, my counter is gorgeous!
