It has approximately 10,000 employees throughout North America. Domtar also has a 50 percent investment interest in Norampac, one of the largest Canadian producers of containerboard. Domtar was founded in 1900 and employs more than 55,000 people in 18 countries, including a facility in Hawesville, Ky.
