Eyemart Express

I have been to eye mart three times in the last three months. Each experience has been great! The first time, I took my 11 year old daughter. She was very indecisive about what she wanted. We met Ms. Melinda, Ms. Christon, and Ms. Ebony at that time. They were very friendly and attentive. They were all very professional and engaging. Hannah loved them. She really gravitated to Ms. Melinda when they made the connection that Ms. Melinda's daughter was a good friend of my daughter's. The second time I went I took my 14 year old autistic son there. He has had his glasses completed by the same provider for 13 years, but because of the great experience with my daughter and the fact that the location is much more convenient and the efficiency of how they provide customer service and can have the glasses made, I chose to take a risk with taking my son there. My son doesn't like change and he wanted to know prior to going why he couldn't go to his usual provider. it was difficult to get him to accept that we needed to try some one new. We were immediately greeted by Ms. Ebony and Ms. Cryston. They had already been forewarned that Drew was Austic and very sensitive to loud noises as well as not easy to engage. We these two ladies outdid themselves. Their approach with Drew was excellent. Drew immediately gravitated towards them and actually interacted with them more than I ever expected. Both ladies were very engaging in a way that was not forceful, too loud, and they followed Drew's lead. Drew gravitated towards one pair of glasses and there was not changing his mind. Both ladies and myself accepted that he was not going to consider any other ones and the whole process went smooth without any melt downs or lack of cooperation from Drew. He even did okay with the eye equipment that Ms. Ebony had to put on his face and look through. I didn't think that Drew would let them measure his eyes. He did very well and I owe this to the way these two ladies approached him and engaged him. I then visited the store again on yesterday 12/16/15 due to losing my bifocals over a week ago and struggling without them. I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Sharon this time along with seeing Ms. Ebony and Ms. Christon again. Ms. Sharon is very engaging and professional. She was very helpful and patient as I asked a lot of questions about frames that would work for bifocals and my insurance and coverage. Ms. Christon and Ms. Ebony were very friendly and acknowledged me although they were being attentive to other customers. The environment there feels very good. I could have stayed much long just to be in their presence and enjoy their company. They smile, seem to enjoy their job, and interact very well with others while being very professional. I am impressed with how young Ms. Ebony and Ms. Christon appear to be and their ability to dress and act very professional. I have had some challenging experiences with young adults who I supervise with dressing and acting professionally. It is inspiring to see others dress and present professionally. I enjoyed seeing the comraderie between the employees and it was obvious that they work well together as a team. I will definitely refer other people to Eye Mart!

The customer service is horrible. Treated me like scum! Won't go back.

I had a really good experience with eye mart in Hattiesburg. I went to several other eye glass stores in the area and found that eye mart had the best price. I usually have to wait several days to get my glasses because of my high perception but was told that I could get them here in just a couple of hours. I was really amazed that it actually took them less than one hour to have both my glasses ready! The staff was also very friendly and didn't make me feel pressured to buy, but with this experience I will defiantly be back next year! Thanks again for all your help and fast service!!
