General Info: Haskell Elementary School serves the educational needs of more than 300 students. Operating under the Haskell Community Independent School District, the school has more than 30 classrooms, including two special school district classes. Located in Haskell, Texas, it also features a reading room, library, media center, vocal music and art room, computer laboratory, multipurpose cafeteria, and a fully equipped gymnasium. Haskell Elementary provides academic and cocurricular programs for children from grades kindergarten through six. The school s curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, phonics, physical and health education, music, and arts and crafts. It offers various activities, such as alumni banquet, donkey basketball game, field day, knowledge bowl, TATU, scholastic scrimmage, senior trips, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts, and National Honor Society.
