Established in 1991, Bellizzi Middle School serves students in grades five through eight. The school features several computer laboratories. It conducts classes in technology education, consumer science, music, art, math, reading, science, social studies, writing, and health and physical education. Bellizzi Middle School operates a cafeteria that offers a variety of lunch options. In addition, it provides a range of health services, as well as conducts extracurricular activities that include field trips and high school awareness nights. The school also operates a parent-teacher organization that sponsors several fundraising events. Bellizzi Middle School conducts Connecticut Mastery Test. The school is governed by Hartford Public Schools.
