Jarvis Property Restoration

We had our property restored after a house fire- and we are very happy with our "new home"!.....Julie Moza, is exceptional. Her skill and knowledge in this area- made the negotiations with insurance go smoothly- She kept us informed and was always available to us.

This last spring we found ourselves in the need of a restoration co. but didn't know who to call, fortunately for us we ended up making a good decision by calling Jarvis. It's never easy having your home in disarray but they assured us that we were in good hands and we were. Our project manager Julie Moza went above and beyond the call of duty. She was always prompt to return phone calls and answer emails. She made herself available into the late ours of the evening and weekends too. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for our insurance co. but when things got bumpy there she was able to smooth things out. I can not say enough about her and the team. I hope that you are never in the need for a restoration co. but if you are I would highly recommend JARVIS, 5 stars all the way!!!!!

Julie Moza from Jarvis is PHENOMENAL!!! We have used Jarvis twice now for our rental property, and for our home... Not only did she address any concerns we had, but everything was done in a timely manner, and she is personable, professional, and proficient at what she does!! I will be extremely happy to use Jarvis Restoration and Construction again in the future just because of her!!!💕

Jarvis Property Restoration installed a new roof on 2/3 of my home last fall 2010. I was assured they used their own employees but I got a subcontractor. I was also told they were located in Farmington. They are not ... all calls are rerouted to their Harrison Twp. office.

They came out several more times to repetitively fix problems that were supposed to be taken care of under my contract, but were either not done or made the roof worse than started. Manager had to come out a few months later and do it himself.

Chimney flashing leaking. Corners not flashed / wrapped and you can see the wood. Ceiling and wall damage. Called Jarvis 3 weeks ago, secretary called back and said she would talk to manager to set up appointment. Haven't heard from since. Just had 3 other companies come out for estimates before wall crumbles.

Subcontractor removed 4 roof can vents from the jacuzzi room roof, covering the can holes w/ tin. Shingles would not stick, and had problems tying new shingles in w/ the rest. Roof now had dents and looked like something had hit it. Finally replaced the tin w/ wood, but shingles still lifting and area wavy.

Someone put front of their foot through edge of the lower roof when stepping up to jacuz roof. Was told hole was fixed. Fix consisted of sticking a shingle over the hole. Fell out few months later right before snow storm. I tarred the area just as snow storm hit. Over the winter area began to rot. Paid another roofer $400 this spring to fix it.

Welcome to my nightmare. I have never had problems in the past with anyone I have hired.

On the plus side, Jarvis painters and workmen who did my soffits and downspouts were outstanding. They were NOT subcontractors. They had worked for the company for over 20 yrs. and take great pride in their work.

Hired Jarvis Construction because a pipe burst in my kitchen in Troy, MI. Had nothing but problems throughout the job. At the start they were VERY nice and available, but as soon as they got the first check from me, I never saw the project manager again! I had to manage the job. They sent a handyman to do all the work which was on their own time table. The ceiling downstairs had to be redone because of poor workmanship, and the floor in the kitchen now has a constant squeaking sound. The granite is chipped against the backsplash which was never repaired correctly.
I then had to repeatedly ask them (2.5 months) for the final invoice. I contacted the CEO John who did nothing to help. When I did get the final bill they attempted to inflat the bill with things they did not do! They were paid extremely well for what they did, I'm sure at least double. It would have cost thousands of dollars less had I hired another company. I am so happy to be done with them. I wish I had done my homework before I hired this company. Do yourself a favor and don't hire them. I would NOT RECOMMEND.

Really great company to work with! I never realized how horrible having a flood in your home was until it happened to me! A big thank you to Mr. Jarvis and his team for helping me through a difficult time. Not only was my home taken care of and dried out, after the repairs were completed I think my home looks better than it did before the flood. THANKS AGAIN JARVIS!!

We came home from vacation and found a water mess. A pipe broke and ran for days. I called Jarvis and wow am i happy i did. With in 45 min a young estimator was on site and explaining the full process from the emergency clean up, how to salvage as much of my personal things to how they would rebuild it just the way it was. Even better they would walk me thru how to work with my insurance company. The mess was cleaned up that night and home was better then new with in 3 weeks. 5 stars!

Had a basement flood over the holiday weekend and was extremely impressed by how fast Jarvis showed up and communicated with me every step of the process. The two technicians that came out were extremely knowledgeable with water damage and explained to me every step of the process they were going to take to make my basement dry out the properly! Thank you for your quick response during a holiday weekend evening I have a recommend Jarvis to anyone dealing with flood damage problem in their home!

Jarvis Construction was there when we needed the help most. Our basement flooded and their team assembled a group of experts and mobilized the property with the essential equipment immediately.



The remediation plan was executed perfectly and they kept us informed and involved through the entire process. Very satisfied how well they worked with our insurance company and how seamless the process flow was.

Run as far as way as you can from this company! This company will rip you off and your insurance company! If you crap on the floor, they will pick it up, store it, partially clean it, wrap in bubble wrap(5 layers) then deliver it to you marked "Cleaned" and charge you $29,000 for it!!!

What a joke!!!! Siding falling off, crooked and LEAKING WINDOWS AND DOOR!! Tell the retarded Bobby Jarvis and he makes it out to be your fault and dont ya know ""windows are suppose to move"" worst company ever...trying to find where i can post pictutes of jarvis destroying my home

A couple of our Cedar Rapids, Iowa customers had a water damage claim from sump pump failure in 2013, and Jarvis did a great job of putting things back together for them. Tracie Williams is a wonderful person, who tucks the customer under her wings throughout the process. Thanks for being there for our clients! -Kelly Souza

Last winter our pipes at our cottage on Lake St. Clair broke on the second floor and caused disastrous damage. We called Jarvis and with the help of Rosanne VerVaecke she had the crew come out. They were professional and courteous. They walked us through the steps on the process and what it would take to get the place all cleaned up. They got the job done in a timely manner and we were very happy with their service. Thank you Jarvis, Rosanne VerVaecke, and the crew. Job well done!

THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL JOKE!!! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING YOUR INSURANCE MONEY AND WILL COMMIT FRAUD TO DO IT! AFTER CONTACTING MY INSURANCE THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULDN'T COVER ANY WORK THAT JARVIS DID, NO MATTER WHAT IT WAS! I WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AND MY INSURANCE PAID FOR EVERYTHING! BE CAREFUL, THEY WILL PRETEND THEY CARE UNTIL THE MONEY ISSUE IS BROUGHT UP...
