BE AWARE WHEN BUYING TRAILER TIRES FROM WORLEY’S TIRE

I bought 4 TOWMASTER Trailer tires from this dealer in May 2013. This year, May 2015, I found one of the tires was coming apart. I installed a spare and returned the tire to them. When I get there, they check the tire date and said the tire was 5 years old and out of date. No Warranty, they only warranty tires for three years. THEY SOLD ME TIRES OUT OF WARRANTY! They were 3 years old when I bought them. IF YOU BUY TIRES FROM THESE FOLKS, CHECK THE TIRE DATE, As if we know how to check tire Mfg Date.

This was my first experience with trailer tires, I assumed they were warranted like car tires, by depth of thread and at least 5 years. Just checking other trailer tire warranties and found:

Maxxis tires are warranted against failures due to defective materials and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of manufacture.

(A) Eligibility: A tire is eligible for warranty coverage under this Limited Warranty only if the tire is presented by the original owner and consumer within five years from the tire’s manufacture date and the tire has a minimum of 2/32” of tread depth remaining, and all procedures in this Limited Warranty are followed.

(B) Free Replacement: Subject to the limitations contained in this Limited Warranty, if a Maxxis tire fails due to defective materials or workmanship during the first 25% of treadwear on the Radial ST or twelve months from the date of original purchase, whichever comes first, the tire will be replaced with a new comparable Maxxis tire without charge.



Carlisle Trailer Tire Warranty: The Carlisle trailer tire warranty applies to the original purchaser for three years from the >>>date of purchase<<< or until the tread depth reaches 3/32".

Either of those manufactures would have replaced the tire.
