Dental Examination
Routine dental cleanings and exams are important for everyone over the age of four or five. When you and your little one come to us for a cleaning, our gentle, compassionate hygienists will use their advanced tools to thoroughly remove plaque and tartar from your mouth. We’ll also look for signs of periodontal disease, tooth decay, and other common dental problems.
X-rays
Oral Cancer Screening
When you visit our office for a routine appointment, we’ll not only clean your teeth, we’ll also inspect them for signs of the most common dental problems. We’ve even invested in a special tool known as DIAGNOdent to identify cavities while they’re still nearly invisible. We’ll also check your smile’s occlusion (how your teeth fit together) and complete an oral cancer screening. On top of this, we’ll collect digital X-rays and intraoral photos to get an even better idea of your particular needs. This way we can present you with the most personalized treatment plan possible.

Teeth Cleaning
Gingivitis can typically be treated with a combination of dental cleanings and thorough care at home. Periodontitis, on the other hand, is often addressed non-surgically with a pair of services known as scaling and root planing. An antibiotic may also be used to increase the effectiveness of scaling and root planing. Other cases may require a more invasive surgical procedure.
Fluoride Treatment
If you need oral surgery, we will happily discuss your procedure in depth and answer any questions you might have. If you’d like to use oral sedation with your procedure, we can to discuss how it works and the benefits you can enjoy with it. We may also recommend preventive services like dental sealants or fluoride treatments to provide your little one’s teeth with extra protection from decay.

Resin Composite
During your next checkup, Dr. Donnelly or Dr. Nomie will assess the integrity of your existing dental work and scan your teeth for decay with our non-invasive DIAGNOdent laser. If you need a new filling, we'll bond a small amount of tooth-colored composite resin to your tooth, beautifully renewing your smile. Composite resin is strong, long-lasting, and resistant to decay, so your smile will be strengthened and protected for years to come.
