AeroTek. Aka LSI in Delano, MN. Save yourself the time and don't deal with this staffing agency. The guy who runs this place is one piece of work. He is one arrogant brat. Stay away from Andy. You will get the run around on everything,

If you enjoy being talked down to, degraded by someone who is only a few years out of high school and outright lied to, Aerotek in Robinson/Pittsburgh is where you want to go looking for a job. I should add the harassing phone calls when you call them out on their lies and false advertising. The manager and assistant manager alternate calling your phone all day, speaking to you as if they are well above you. Some people say that anyone who goes to headhunters are not "hiring material", sometimes company's make a mistake by letting these arrogant kids do their hiring for them, very unprofessional on both ends. I have an excellent background and had no idea the job was being posted through Aerotek, but the job posting was worth taking the chance....I thought that until talking with Aerotek. The job posting was a lie and that is 100% fact. Inflated hourly salary and the job description was very misleading, to say the least, just to get people to respond to the job. Once you go in to interview with Aerotek, of a sudden, the pay is much lower. I sent them the link to their own posting and stated that it was false advertising, seeing as they posted the job the day before and by the next day, the day of my interview, the pay got lowered by a good bit but the same posting got posted that day on another site with the same information. In my book, a lie is a lie and what Aerotek does is down right illegal.

I am so relieved to see I'm not the only one who had a bad experience with Aerotek! For me, it was a phone call from one of their recruiters. He pressured me to say if I'd be happy with the salary the job was offering, and I hesitated, not wanting to discuss salary before even being interviewed in person and because the quoted salary was a lot lower than one would expect for a "technology" job. So, the guy got very unprofessional and rude, saying "well since you hesitated to answer it sounds like you wouldn't be happy with that salary" so that was the end of that! I was dumbfounded by this person's ridiculous assumption. I would have been flexible on salary as anyone is, but he lost a candidate just because I hesitated to answer an inappropriate question early on in the process!!! Ridiculous. Unprofessional. I was astounded, frankly.

flesh peddlers. worked for them at a large company. companies like this should not exist similar to a pawn shop. only being paid a third of what your worth compared to what your transitioned permanent counterparts receive. your told that you will transition permanent with the company, until then your expected to perform at the permanent employees expectations considerably higher pay scale while receiving only a third of the benefits. no thanks I am worth more and far more valuable.

I submitted my application one morning and a few hours later, I received a phone call to schedule an interview for the position that I applied to. During the phone call, they told me to dress professional and to be there for a specific time. I wore some nice black slacks, a button down polo, and some black dress shoes. During my interview, the HR woman told me that I would not be a good candidate because it was a dirty job. I went on to tell her how I have worked on oil rigs and railroads. She mentioned other job openings on the telephone but during the interview, she was eager to let me know that I was too clean for the mechanic job, and apparently, she forgot about all of the other job postings. She also told me that since I had majored in music on an online program, that I would also be unfit for the mechanic position. I just feel like I was totally stereotyped! After my experience and reading other reviews, I see that I made a mistake trying to find a job through them.

AEROTEK REJECT

I have seen Aerotek's name in San Diego for about 7 years. I had applied to so many jobs with them that I began to doubt they really existed. A couple of years ago I applied to one of their job postings. I got an interview but never heard back from them. A co-worker also interviewed with them the same day and he never heard back from them either. These people are out and out worthless flakes.

Overall
unaccountable

i was employed with aerotek here in san antonio for about a year. luckily the company i was working for hired me as a full time employee because these people at aerotek are lousy at their jobs. i was set up with direct deposit to avoid any hassles and despite that there were numerous times i was not paid on time, which was havoc on my account since i had multiple bill payments taken directly from my account. when i contacted them about the issues it was creating for me there was no definite answer as to why this kept occuring. since i didnt want to further risk my account status and continue to have to pay outrageous overdraft fees for automatic bill pay i had set up i canceled direct deposit to receive live checks, which to no avail did not prevent my paycheck woes with aerotek. on one such occasion my check was never delivered to my office and when my supervisor contacted the account manager, whose name is OTTO in the san antonio office with aerotek, he lied and stated he delivered my check with another supervisor at the company who never received it. there is no accountability on their part for their lack of competance. I did not receive my check for that specific mishap until a full week later. they would rather lie than come clean about their inability to do their jobs effectively. in my honest opinion do not seek out aerotek for employment unless you want stress and frustration. Otto is a LITTLE arrogant man who in my opinion doesnt know his mouth from another hole in his body. you have been warned.

These guys stink!!!

I went to Aerotek because the company tthat I work as a temp at is fairly large and they do all thier hiring for certain positions from companies like this one. I sent my resume, had an interview and had even done alot of foot work ahead of time for them. The Supervisor wanted me for this position, I gave them his number and the best time to calll. They never called at that time. After TWO MONTHS of constant work on my end annd nothing on thier's they call me up and let me know that they refuse to represent me because I have no formal experience on that field! All they had to do was submit my resume to the company and let the supervisor know that it was done and I would have had the job! They could'nt go as far as clicking a few buttons!!! It was a done deal and I didn't get the job because they were too lasy and incompetent. This company sucks!

I posted my resume on Monster.com and 10 minutes later someone called from Areotek. I set up a interview 3 days later and a week later I'm going for a follow up interview with the boss's at a electrical contractor. They so far worked in my favor. I think they did a great job for me.

Help!!!

Hi Nolie23.

I just filled out an application on line for customer service & call center job. I did that this morning and a couple of hours later I received a call from someone working at the Cincinnati, Ohio office. I was kind of excited by that.

But after reading all these negative reviews, I'm not sure if I really want to get an interview with them. For some reason my resume did not go through at first and that's why he called, so I could get it to him, he could look at it, and set me up for an interview.

what on earth do you think I should do.?????/

Poor working conditions

While not directly Aerotek's fault, they will send candidates into unsafe work enviornments and not understand why someone is unwilling to return to that assignment. My boyfriend is a welder. He went to Aerotek in Sacramento, CA for a welding job. They sent him to a company (name unknown) to weld galvanized metal. The company did not/does not provide proper safety equipment in the form of a mask with an appropriate filter as zinc oxide (toxic gas) is given off this metal when it is welded. By mid-day my boyfriend was feeling ill from the fumes. The senior team person training him, who had only been on the job 8 months, told him it's from the fumes and that is why no one sticks around on this job.

If I were an employment agency, I would be checking into the companies my staff, my commodity if you will, is working at. In failing to ensure safe working conditions, Aerotek is negligent.

I applied a while ago.. drove ...

I applied a while ago.. drove all the way to thier distant office since they were so for sure that they wanted me for a position.. what a waist of time! They reveiwed my resume, supposedly contacted my references and talked to me about what jobs I was currently looking at. I told them I applied at a local bank and havent heard anything yet, which happened to be the same bank they wanted me to go do for them. Anyways, I go to my interview with the recruiter after he already talked to me for about an hour about everything with my current job situation and told me that he was sorry that I couldnt be qualified for the position since I already applied for the bank myself. SO.. two hours of drive time just to find out something that he could have easily told me over the phone.. I'm frustrated! Now they call every couple of weeks saying how interested they are in my work history and want to get me a new job. As of right now Im employed, looking for advancement opportunities but I'm deciding to refuse any dealings with Aerotek. I dont recommend this place, especially when your needing a job asap.

BS company..not worth a cent

I read the reviews. Applied several times for the same job, got the same form letter in email. 1 callback, nothing else. I call them, get the answer: "Sure. We have something that may fit you. Let us get you in here to fill out some paperwork, and we will get you started." Dead air after that. Nada. Call back....and they act like they never heard of you.

PS- Did anyone else notice that BOTH the 5 star ratings were done on the same day? I bet Aerotek office personnel did them. Sounds like something they would do to try and boost their dwindling company.

NO CALL BACK, NO FOLLOW THROUGH

IT IS TRUE REGARDING AEROTEK SO-CALLED STAFFING AGENCY - A LOT OF FALSE PROMISES - YES IT IS

TRUE - ESPECIALLY THE AEROTEK AGENCY IN SANTA ANA, CA. NO CALL BACKS, NO FOLLOW THROUGH - WAS GIVEN AN EXTRME AMOUNT OF EXCUSES - ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE !!! WOULD NEVER LOOK

TO THEM AGAIN - NEVER FOUND THEM TO BE VERY HONEST. YES - THEY MAY BE POLITE WHEN THEY FIRST MEET YOU - YES THEY ARE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE - BUT EVERYTIME YOU ASK ABOUT THE POSITION YOU SPECIFICALLY APPLIED FOR - THEY TELL YOU IT WAS GIVEN TO ANOTHER APPLICANT !!!

EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES - FRANKLY WHO NEEDS THEM. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY STAY IN

BUSINESS WITH ALL THE LIES AND EXCUSES THEY GIVE APPLICANTS. TAKE MY ADVISE - STAY AWAY

AND DO NOT USE THEM - I AM BEGINNING TO WONDER HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS WITH ALL THE EXCUSES THEY GIVE EVERYONE. NEVER AGAIN - VERY BAD CHOICE FOR EMPLOYMENT ETC.
