After hearing so many fantastic things about this place, I went with high expectations, which, I'm afraid to say, were not met. First of all, the menu items are extremely expensive. I also have to say that the ribs I ordered are not the best I have ever had. The sides I got (potato salad, coleslaw, and beans) were pretty good, but in very small portions (served in tiny cups), considering I payed about thirty dollars for the whole thing. The up sides of the Shed are the friendly service and the live music. However, I don't think I'll be going back.
I've seen all the hype, all the national TV shows, etc on this place. I usually don't fall for stuff like that, as a matter of fact usually when you get there they are a disappointment. Well, not this one. Absolutely everything they say, it is. The Que is sweet, southern, the atmosphere is old school great and the people are more than friendly. I won't miss this place if I'm within 50 miles of it. I also saw where Grayson Capps was due to play on a Sat. there.....must have a killer music venue if they have him! 5 star for me!
Tay's ribs are some of the best on the coast! I like their style of slow smoking with the sauce on the side. I also like their chicken and drumettes. Keep in mind they only have a couple of tables and are primarily a carry-out restaurant.
Wonderful food and atmosphere!
Love it,delicious! Atmosphere
