Rem Boot Company

There's not many shoe repair places in this area so I went to this one by default. They never called me back to confirm the price of the repair before proceeding with it. When I called two weeks later they told me the repair was done and ready for pickup and that they would have left a message but I had no voicemail. Of course I have a voicemail and I told them so, but then they argued that I didn't.

When I picked up the shoe, the repair work was very disappointing. All I needed was one eyelet repair and they didn't even use the same type; there was some fraying and the repair didn't even fix that. It looks like they spent 1 minute on it and although they only charged me $8, it still seems cheap.

I will not be coming to this place again. Terrible workmanship and very rude staff.

Went into REM yesterday to buy some new work boots. I recommend if you need new boots this is definitely the place to go. Great prices and the ladies that work there are very helpful. Was in and out in 20 minutes. They weren't pushy just made sure what I wanted was going to be the best for me really glad I stopped there. Thank you very much and will definitely be back for my next pair.

I walked into Remboots of groton for the last time. After finding out they carried us made boots IE redwings.

Well aprox 6-9 yrs ago I found out about a local boot company REM Boots of groton and they sold redwing boots. and in that time I have bought 2 pair of them well it was time for another pair of work boots. I walked in the store and noticed the boots I wanted had jumped up to alomst 300 dollars and questioned why the boots that were made in the usa with us material had jumped so high and I was in the computer. The woman told me I had bought us made boots with foriegn material well I questioned her because the assoc. that sold me my last pair boots told me US made With US material and someone had lied to me. And we went back and forth and She said something along the lines it wasn't me and started YELLING at me I apoligized and she continued to YELL at me. So I started YELLING back and she had THE GALL to tell me What kind of father are you to yell at me in front of my son AFTER she had been arugumentive for about 3-5 Mins even after I appoligized to to her then the manager came out YELLING AT ME whats going on.

by now I'm walking out the the door she threatens to call the cops on me. Well needless to say I went to Marcuses in New London got the same pair of boots for 50.00 dollars less and he proceeded in telling me how much he like that that woman that I had to deal with because he has reciecved a LOT of buss. from that store because of her.
