DISCRIMINATORY & NO COMMON COURTESY. I usually go to L'amour Nails in Metairie, but i have since moved across the river to Algiers. Soo i researched a bunch of nail shops near my new location and went through a bunch of reviews. I was really hoping to find a more "upscale" nail salon. After looking over all of them i decided to go to Hi Nails in Gretna. I went there today and I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED at the LACK of Customer Service and honestly the complete ABSENCE of common courtesy. I walked into the Nail salon Today, it was pretty busy but the Nail Techs and what appeared to be the owner (asian guy maybe mid 30's seated at the first booth) all made eye contact with me but did not speak...AT ALL. They all kept looking me over, but never verbally acknowledged me. No on said Hello, how can we help you today, what will you be getting done today, NOTHING. So i asked the lady next to me, had she been waiting long, she said no...i asked her was there a sign in sheet? She said no. Soo..i observed the clientele and made a observation that MAJORITY of the clientele while i was there was Caucasian/Hispanic.(i am African American) So i decided to wait as i was puzzled no one had the decency to verbally ACKNOWLEDGE i was there after looking at me repeatedly. I was ready to leave at that point, but i purposefully waited to see if the next customer that came in would be greeted or not. And sure enough, the next person that came in was Caucasian and the guy who appeares to be the owner PROMPTLY spoke to the woman and asked her what she would be having done today! At that point i politely got up, excused myself out, and left. I couldn't believe it. I literally FELT they did not want to service me. So I drove 25 minutes to L'amour Nails in metairie and HAPPILY spent $120.00 for the treatment & quality service im accustomed to.I wont ever go back to this shop, and i wont recommend it to any one.

I adore Spa Reyna! I have definitely found my new place for Brazilian. They give you the option between hard and soft wax and the esthitician makes …
Amazing nail salon!!! BEST SERVICE EVER!!!! 100/50 rating. It has great service and does the best nails too. I came in with ugly looking nails and came out with a GORGEOUS full set!!!!! It was worth my money.
Beware! Went it to buy a $30 gift card for my assistant and their debit machine was not printing receipt. Employee kept telling me it didn't go through. Third time receipt printed. I check my account and I was charged 3 times for a $30 gift card. Shop owner was called in (I had to wait for her to get there) and she claims my card only was charged one time. I showed her my account on online banking but she did not care. Was in shop an hour and half arguing with this woman and trying to get a credit issued to my card. She took back my gift card and said she would void out transaction. She grabbed up the $30 gift card and voided only $30 (not $90 on my debit card like she agreed to do). She did not give me a copy of the void slip. Finally her credit card merchant told her she indeed charged me 3 times at $30. I spoke with him and he told me he could see that there were 3 charges made on my card and the shop owner should have been able to see it too. When she realized she was in the wrong she did NOT even apologize. When I told her I was going to post reviews on what happened at her nail shop, how poorly she treated me, my time that she wasted, she then had the nerve to threaten me three times. My daughter heard her the second time. Outrageous! I have not received a refund and am still dealing with this nightmare. This shop is NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau. This is a relatively new nail spa, offering great service and VIP treatment. The staff is professional with the ability to greet clients with a smile and have the ability to achieve requested results.
They will NEVER In life touch my nails AGAIN. For one, I got my old set soaked off which is $5. Two, I got a new set put on ($18). Three, I got gel polish ($10) which all totaled out to $33. Right when I'm getting ready to pay she tells me that it's $40. So I'm like since when and broke down everything I've gotten and the price. She tells me because of the length. Mind you guys that I got my nails short. They really got over. They had no customers at all. I was the only one in there. Then they always gossip about the other nail salon that's down the street from them and how they don't do good of a job. They're VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Do not go to them. It's not worth. It's only been a week and my supposedly gel polish is chipped and she didn't even use a base coat on my nails.
First & last visit... Small space. Not very clean. Long wait. Overcharged (almost $10 over) but too tired to continue to argue by the time services were rendered since it took over 3 hours... first tech for pedicure was very nice and did a good job. Nail tech for refill was rough, rushing & rude.
This was my first time at this salon and I loved it. They were all very welcoming when I came in. they were accommodating, friendly, and offered me drinks. The place is extremely clean and my gel manicure looks great! Its conveniently located to my office too, which is great. They had tons of regular and gel colors to choose from (even Essie gel, my favorite!)I can't wait to go back!
Classique Nails is a GREAT place to feel better and look pretty! Jessicas's work is amazing and can not be compared to anyone. Everyone in the shop is friendly and makes you feel very comfortable ... LOVE Classique Nails!!
