Guardian Fiberglass, part of the Guardian Building Products Group, manufacturers a complete line of light density fiberglass building insulation products for the construction markets in Canada and the United States. Guardian products are sold under well-known private brand names, including Georgia-Pacific and Do It Best, with a primary focus on the independent lumber dealer and home center market. Guardian is the fourth-largest manufacturer and follows aggressive marketing principles. The company has been awarded numerous vendor of the year designations from major buying group customers. Guardian Fiberglass is headquartered in Albion, Mich., where the company first started producing fiberglass products in 1980. The company has grown in sales each year and has added plants in Mineral Wells, Miss; Inwood, W.Va.; and Kingman, Ariz., in the U.S., and also has a new Canadian operation at its facility Erin, Ontario.
