Original from Rocky Mount, been in this are for 3 years. Said that I would never go back again to Africian braiding again...well I was referring basically to Rocky Mount. Went to Flores had a great experience. Had hair loss due to surgery and was very short in some areas. The young lady was able to pick short hair up, small micro, and she took her time. They were all the same size. Oh boy, I am glad that I went to Flores. Going back end of July to redo three rows. A fantastic job....got many compliments.
The best eyelashes I have ever had!! Definitely coming back to get them done again, I got so many compliments after getting these done.
We are currently not doing eyelash service. Thank you for your interest.
Ok, do not come to this place. Last week I made my daughter an appointment for box braids, 8 am this morning. When we arrive, I find out that are they a person short, but the stylist thought it would be ok. After an hour, the next appointment walks in that the single stylist did not know about, two little girls who need cornrows removed, washed, and redone. The stylist is now in overwhelm mode to the point of tears, so she is calling EVERYONE in her phone that ever held a comb, trying to find help. The owner (who doesn't do hair and works at the prison) and all the other stylists, don't answer or return her calls for help. My daughter and I feel so bad for her, that we start taking down one of the little girls braids, to keep things moving. Now one of the little girls is screaming at the shampoo bowl, like someone is killing her and the poor stylist is doing her best to keep the situation under control. Needless to say everyones, nerves are fried. So after all of this, we start to discuss what would happen if she can't finish everyone today....and then it comes out that the salon policy that you must pay upfront (which we did) but there are no refunds. In my 40+ years on this earth, this has been the most unprofessional, ghetto/ratchet salon I have ever had the misfortune to find. You have been warned….
This place is currently under new management ( the new manager, she told me that they just took over since the 1st of April). My first time here and all the nail techs are really friendly and up-beat. Went in for a gel fill and they did a wonderful job, and fast too. Affordable prices also. I would recommend them to all of my friends. Thank you Angie for my beautiful nails. I'll definitely be back.
Im never going back to this place. Me and my sister came here because our usual nail salon was busy. When we came in we were not greeted. They just said what are you getting?". When the lady started on my nails she immediately started clipping down my real nails without my permission....when she got the box of acrylic nails out she must've noticed that she was low in stock so she just got up from the table and started restocking all of the nail sizes which was wasting my time. I feel like she should have waited to do that after I left. She literally said a total of five words to be which were "what color do you want?" The whole time. I told her clear (that was the new trend). She literally put one sloppy coat of clear on my nails. I then asked the guy that was working politely if he could add a second coat of clear polish so he grabbed my hands and started painting them without saying a word. It was not worth my 245 dollars. My sister said that she was treated the same way. They are extremely rude. I never leave reviews but I had to in thia case. They didn't even say bye or see you later when we left. We said thank you, they never said you're welcome.
Horrible service, not to mention they opened 20 minutes late and didn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience. Very unprofessional period. I don't normally do reviews but this is the third time they have done this.
terrible... rude.... nail polish was chipping before I got home that night. Will not answer phone for me to let them know I was not pleased. Do not waste your money. NOT EVEN 1/2 star BUT IT MADE ME CHECK ONE
I went to get my nails done here and as soon as I walk in, it was like an oven. Once I got in and politely asked the man doing my nails to turn on the ac he then proceeded to file down my nails. He cut open every. Single. One. Of my cuticles which was downright painful. This place was gross and do not care if you come back- quite frankly it seemed like they didn't even want you to come back. I will never return!
Mary Ellsbury took my over-processed hair and worked her magic, making it beautiful and natural looking again. She took the time to talk to me, really listen to me about what I wanted, then advised me regarding what would work with the shape of my face and natural coloring. I HIGHLY recommend the salon, and more specifically, Ms. Ellsbury! Love, love, LOVE my hair again!
