Helms, Rick Dvm

Dr. Rick Helms is an excellent veterinarian. He is a genuinely friendly and sensitive man who is highly skilled in his profession. His love of animals is very evident, and his compassion for their owners is very supportive. His entire staff are the same way.



Dr. Helms has taken care of my two cats (litter mates) for 15 of their 16 years of life. In June, I had to have one of them put to sleep. He was honest about what could and could not be done for her, and confirmed that my painful decision to let her go was medically and compassionately correct. He allowed me to be there when he gently put her to sleep, and he stayed with me for several minutes after she died while I cried. Two days later I received in the mail a sympathy card from him and his staff.



I highly recommend Dr. Rick Helms to all pet lovers. Your animal friend will be in excellent hands -- and so will you.
