Benefis Healthcare is the largest hospital in the state of Montana, which provides care to approximately 225,000 people in a service area that covers 44,814 square miles and 15 counties in north central Montana. Its service area is bigger than Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont combined. Benefis Healthcare operates more than 500 beds at its two campuses. It is the biggest non-government employer in Cascade County and in its service area, employing more than 2,400 people. In addition, there are more than 250 members on the medical staff that represent 48 specialties. Benefis Healthcare is located in Great Falls, Mont.
