VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars)

As a Viet Nam veteran, I decided to adopt one of our fallen heroes years ago. His name is Alvin Lee Shadwick 1947-1969 of Grand Saline, Texas. Alvin is buried out east of your town, at Providence Cemetery. This past Monday, Veterans Day, I decided to make a trip to his grave. I live in Dallas. On my way back from Providence Cemetery, I saw the town memorial for fallen vets. Alvin's name is not on this memorial. I think the young man's family is all gone, so no one is around to represent him. Please get in touch with me as to how we can add his name to your town memorial.
