Spectrum Health is a nonprofit health system serving residents of Grands Rapid, Mich. It has seven hospitals, more than 140 service sites, 1,400 medical staff members and over 2,000 volunteers. It provides a wide range of services that include medical, outpatient, surgical, continuing, and emergency care services. Other services include digestive disease, cancer, geriatric medicine, forensic pathology, neuroscience, breastfeeding, pastoral care, and grief and loss support services. It also has online health library services that provide information on clinical trials, medications and drugs and glossary of medical terms. Spectrum Health s continuing care center provides services, such as consultation, referral for the elderly, rehabilitation services, in-home care, foster care and brain injury services.
