The Coffee Grounds

I have never been here before. I stopped at Jumpin' Java & they were PACKED. No place to sit and there was still a line! So I came down to The Coffee Grounds a couple blocks down.



WOW. The place was practically empty. Seating is not conducive to a single person. The only "single" tables are in the middle. All the bigger ones on the outskirts (what's up with that?!). Only two outlets. Okay, no matter, I'm jonezing for a hot apple cider. $4.00 for a cider!?!? WOW. Then I go ahead thinking it's gotta be great, and I'm sure I'll enjoy my visit. I got waited on by the owner (I over heard someone talking to him). He was arrogant and stood there and talked to another person (who was already sipping on his beverage) WHILE people are waiting! I then order my drink and made a comment that it was rather pricey so I'm sure it's just delicious! :) He said "this is the high rent district, take it or leave it". WOW (again!)



Extremely under-impressed and could care less to ever be here again. The worst part is, the food is not that fresh, not very flavorful and it became rather disgusting when my "large" marked 20oz. is NOT 20oz.. because when I poured it into my 20oz travel mug (which I know for FACT is an actual 200z!), it didn't even fill it! OBNOXIOUS OWNER, PRICES AND LIES ABOUT WHAT THEY'RE SELLING!! NEVER AGAIN. I SAY MUCH BETTER PLACES...WATCH OUT!
