33 years ago, Mr Carter (owner of store at the time) seen 12 year old me eyeing the open faced reels in the fishing department and offered to show me how to use it out in the parking lot and allowed me access to his pond to fish. I was from out of state and working at my grandmother's restaurant (Park Place Pizza) over the summer months between school. I will never forget his kindness. I just hope his family sees this review. I have never used any other reels since. He also offered me the chance to drive his little car in the parade, but I had school and was forced to decline.
