FIRST TIME!!!!!I am so disappointed. My AC just blow hot Air, try to cleaned myself, but it wasn't good enough.,So I called Air Comfort Solutions. First time they send somebody out, nice white Shirt, nice black Pants, he cleaned THE OUTSIDE UNIT (WATER HOSE), inside, of course better, since he got all the tools. He kind of tricked me into the bi-annual service, otherwise I would have to pay over $100.00 more without signing up. So I did. BIG MISTAKEAdvertising $90+ heck no, he didn't even replace the filters, I have to go and get some new ones. I mentioned to him that the one site in my house the Air is not blowing, just a little, he said it will be fine just give it time.Next day coming home from work, my house was HOT AGAIN.I called, they send the same Guy out, this time more in work clothing. He looked, then told me it is all ripped underneath the Trailer (I live in a Double-Wide), from animals... I asked him can you fix it, yes but it cost a lot, you better off to buy a new unit, we do financing. Funny he didn't had one spot on his shirt and clean pants, even his knee protection showed only a little dust.I signed some paper and of he go, still no filters from that company.Thank God, I called my Cousin, he and a friend, go under my House, NOTHING WAS RIPPED OPEN, THE DUCT-VENTS WAS DISCONNECTED, ALL THE COLD AIR FROM THE AC GOES STRAIGHT TO THE GROUND. They was so dirty and full sand, so I KNOW THE SERVICE GUY NEVER WAS ALL THE WAY under THERE.They connected the Duct Vents and my house is nice and cool.NO THANKS TO AIR COMFORT SOLUTIONSSorry Jason, not a good Company to make business with. All they care about; IS MAKING MONEY, NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE.I WILL never CALL THEM AGAIN, BUT I WILL MAKE SURE EVERBODY GET WARNED.
We called they for help this June when our ac was using to high of wattage, after spending over $300 they offered nothing to assist us. They failed to identify the heat strip was melted. So the AC and heat were running at the same time. $600 AC bill on 17-00 sq ft home. They two year service agreement also has a service call fee and a fee for coming to the house. They only refunded us the the TWO yr Agreement charge of $179. BEWARE of calling ACS. They have hidden charges. Dissatisfied in Choctaw
I will not let them back into either of my houses. They changed only one of the two filters, and the one they did change didn't fit the hole properly. We called twice to request another filter. They left most of the screws out of the "A" Coil cover. What really, really upsets me is that they removed, and didn't replace the plug to the gas valve manifold pressure test port, and they must have taken the plug with them because it was nowhere around the furnace to be able to put it back in. This allowed Natural Gas to escape into the attic next to an ignition source, and also into the house. They could have blown my house and family up. This was the first time we needed to use the heater after their "service" on Oct 9. As soon as we smelled the gas in the house we turned off the heat. What it boils down to is they were just trying to sell me a new $13,000 system (but would give a 10% discount - yeah right). In all honesty, I wouldn't even give them a piece of one star for a rating. We had another company come out and they found no functional reason to have a new heat and air system installed. AND, they replaced the test port valve plug with no charge - what ACS had left undone. Our original maintenance agreement was with Advanced Air Specialist - they are the ones who called on Sept 18 to set up the service appointment. No one contacted us that they had been bought out by ACS - their truck just showed up instead of Adv. Air. It was the same tech guy that had previously serviced our system earlier in the year - with no problems stated on the receipt. Very curious indeed! Very upset. I suggest you do not trust this company.
I am always happy to find and review a great company! They are very knowledgable, and do outstanding work. They are very careful to keep their worspace clean. They are also professional in their appearance, and you are not worried to have rhem in your home! They are also very nice! Can't really beat that! Top notch!
BEWARE- this company will rip you off!!!! I called Air Comfort Solutions and scheduled a routine maintenance on my air conditioning unit. After they took care of the routine maintenance, they told us we had a part out. So, I told them to order the part and scheduled another time for them to come out and fix the issue. In the meantime our unit stopped working altogether. I called to see if they could come out a day earlier than planned, they could not. On the day they were scheduled to come out in between 2 pm and 6 pm, they called me at 4:58 pm informing me that they forgot to order the part for my unit. Keep in mind it’s over 100 degrees outside, and my unit is not working at all. Yes, I was very angry! The person I was talking to hung up on me, then called back saying we were disconnected. I asked them to never call my number again, that I would find someone else to fix my unit.
Last night our a/c went out around 10 p.m. Tony Lawrence responded to our call promptly and was terrific! He quickly diagnosed our problem and restored service. He also reinforced the soundness of our decision to purchase a service agreement & Carrier unit with boost and advised us on the need to purchase a new water heater which we will do as ours is 13 years old. What a marvelous person & professional he is!
I have used Interstate Heating and Air for 13 years. Very dependable, honest and professional. I have my system checked twice a year to prevent problems. When it does breakdown they work me into their busy schedule to get it back up and running as soon as possible. I recommend them to everyone that asks.
We called them about a gas hvac heater not working. We were out of state and needed this taken care of for someone else. I asked if they could bill us and the rep asked for my billing address and scheduled the appointment. The service tech arrived checked it out and called me to say the gas valve and electric igniter where bad and would cost $1200 to repair. He said it was an older heater so it would be better to not put the money in it but, to replace it. He would have a sales rep call me. The sales rep called quickly and began to give options for heater replacement. He gave prices between $7900-$12000 for good, better, best only heater, not a/c unit or Acoil. I said I would pass. The tech called me back; meanwhile, I had checked into the parts for repair. The parts were inexpensive. I told him no thanks that I would use someone else. He then said, he needed to collect $139 for service call, no billing. As I explained that is not what his rep told me he got rude and raising his voice. Then as I said I would call the company and give cc info but not to him, he said no that he had to collect it then. I said I would not give him cc, but call his company and give it, and he would not accept. I stated it 3 times and then he started telling me to "pipe down." I asked him to leave and I would contact the company and pay by cc. He left after confirmation from his dispatcher. I called another hvac company they came out and replaced gas valve and igniter for $300. The parts were less than $160. Took him 1.5 hrs and all works just right. Air comfort solutions is deceptive, outrageous, and possibly willing to take advantage of a situation and claim unneeded repairs to make more money. Choose another company unless you want to pay 4x the amount and have plenty of money to spend. In my experience, I would recommend that you. Do not use this company.
I called them out to my home to unclog my pipes which cost me $475. They came out unclogged them (so I thought) flushed the toilet a couple of times and ran some water in bath tub. An hour after they left I did a load of laundry and the rinse water filled up my bath tub. I called them back and said I have the same problem as before the first showed up. They came back out and said it was a sewage problem and it would cost me another $1000 or so on top of the $475 that they had already charged me. The tech refused to refund my money and I asked for his bosses name and number. I called it the next morning and got no answer and a full voice mail box so I couldn't even leave a message. It gave me an option to leave my number which it said would go to his pager. So I did and what a surprise, no call back from them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!
I had a technician come service my unit. He said I was low on Refrigerant by 7 pounds and it's $133 per pound. He also said I had a leak so it's pointless to put in refrigerant if it's going to leak out. He told me he was going to send his repair man to give me a quote. They quoted me for FULL replacement which was $15,000... um excuse me? They told me they would lower it to $12,400 if I would do it immediately as in right this minute. That felt like a kick in the stomach. I called another guy out that was referred to me by family. He said everything looked fine, charged me $8 per pound for the refrigerant and it only needed 3 pounds. Total cost was $79. My air conditioning has been working great. Air Comfort Solutions are crooks and I feel like they were completely trying to take advantage of a single mom.
