Lone Star Moving and Packing

BEWARE!!!! I repeat BEWARE of this shady and janky business. The business is dishonest and has no respect for the paying customer. They made my my move day a living hell!!! We waited for almost 4 hours before finally calling icann moving that was a amazing and polar opposite of this company, esp to be contacted at the last minute! To make matters worse I listened to them for 30 minutes talk about how I was "bitching" about them being late. Basically talking about me as if I wasn't paying. I wouldn't EVER recommend this company to anyone...EVER.

BUYER BEWARE IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY AND MONEY.

We were overcharged significant amount from original estimate of moving services. Moving scheduled for 9/30/15. We were given an estimate of $763.00 from the company originally based on information given them on items needing moved plus pictures sent detailing our needs. On moving day, movers were 1.5 hours late. When we called, they said "we overslept". After picking up our items and transporting to our new home, we gave movers a diagram of where to place furniture/boxes (due to conflict in closing times, we could not remain on site for the entire move; our neighbor was available for questions and to pay the movers with a check). Final bill was $919.00 of which our neighbor gave the movers a check. We joined the movers at our original location and were given the details of the move by the mover in charge. He stated the original estimate was $1400.00. We advised him of the original amount quoted by Karen Garvin of $763.00. The mover in charge said he was not aware of the amount quoted by Karen.

Reasonably priced. The movers hustled the entire time, taking good care of our belongings, polite and discreet, yet friendly. They worked hard & made our move less stressful. Nothing broken, everything placed where we wanted and reassembled. I highly recommend Lonestar Moving & Packing.
