The developer of Whitewing, Bamford Realty, Inc, is a firm with over fifty years of experience in multiple phases of the real estate industry. Current owners of the company, Greg, David, and Adam Bamford are all real estate licensees in either Arizona or Colorado, as well as other states. While the dominant activity has been Whitewing in recent years since David & Adam became involved, prior development projects include Cottonwoods Crossing, and Settler's Meadow near the Town Hall in Gilbert. President of the company, Greg Bamford, was first licensed as a real estate agent in Colorado in 1968 and has been active in multiple phases of the real estate industry continuously since that time. Initially, emphasis was on brokerage and management of agricultural properties in Colorado and Nebraska. The firm became regionally known in the 1970s and early 80s as a farm and ranch property specialist with expertise in designing and executing complicated IRS Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. This effort evolved into acquisition and development of lands for irrigation farming. In 1982, Bamford expanded into urban real estate brokerage and development in both the Denver and Phoenix metro-areas.
