Willee's Tavern

Been living in the area for 17 years and finally stopped in on an early Saturday afternoon. Bartender was friendly and the place had plenty of room. I've always heard about the fish but had to go for wings. The hot buffalo wings are whole wings and are tasty. Each draft was served in a frosted pint glass. Menu offered a good selection for a bar and definitely a place I'll bring the family to for a dinner some time. Bar has a pool table, many tvs showing sports and a even a seperate smoking room. I shouldn't have waited so long to try this place. I'll be back soon. I'd give this 4 stars if it was livelier but it was early Saturday...

I grow up around this tavern. My grandmother and mother used to work there when I was a baby. I got my diapers changed by the steelers back in the 70's at this tavern. As I got older we always went there and had fish sandwiches and then went to the race track in saver PA. I like to take my children out there one night just so they can have the same memories......... They have really good and big fish sandwiches. They also have a peanut night. where u eat them and then throw the shells on the floor.

When we went we all sat in the dining area, and got fish sandwhiches. The murals on the wall were nicely made. At first they were delicious, but as you kept on eating them they seemed to lose there taste. Also it was infested with flies. The service wasnt that great. But the curly fries were delicous. I would say the bar is probably the best place to be seated here.

Best fish around, and I love Fridays with all the peanut shells on the floor. It"s a place you can dine even with small children. We have enjoyed the food over 20 years.
