The food is GREAT, they have the best Tiramisu!! The martini bar next door is also great, I suggest the Tic Tac! And ask for Nicole, she's the best bartender!

Having just relocated to Gastonia from Orlando a year ago, I have been disappointed with the local culinary choices until Scarabelli's. What a pleasant surprise! Since it was our visit, my husband and I decided to stick with an array of appetizers which we enjoyed next door at their martini bar. First the artisan cheese and fruit platter was well presented and delicious. Second, the honey dew melon wrapped in prosciutto was delightful. Next, came the mussels and clams in a white wine and garlic sauce (this is my favorite so far).The shellfish was sweet, with no grittiness, and very flavorful. Finally, we had the meatballs over gorgonzola with a homemade tomato sauce. This was only slightly disappointing due to the meatballs being on the salty side. Other than that, it too was good. The chef special that night was a choice between a swordfish steak or veal. Since we were content with our appetizers,we did not order an entree. However, we look forward to returning to try one. The owner and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The decor was crisp and clean with a mix of rustic and art deco. I truly hope this restaurant survives. It's a much needed destination for Gaston County.

The food is exceptional in this very stylish restaurant. The lounge next door also has amazing martinis! The calimari was very very well prepared. Fresh and not tough at all. Hands down the best chicken parm I've ever had. The lemon torte dessert was also great.

This is a good little place! The desserts are amazing!
