Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Hand pain can be the result of a condition that has developed over time, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis, or of a recent finger injury from an accidental fall, such as a fracture or jam. In some cases, and if not detected early, conditions like carpal tunnel, pressure caused by repetitive motions on the median nerve, may create severe pain in the fingers, thumb, hand, and forearm.

Job Description: With a strong customer service focus and commitment, the Clerical Floater is responsible for providing support in the office setting to achieve the highest standards of patient service and satisfaction. This is a floating position covering for all assigned practice departments. Duties include coordination of office based, hospital based and ambulatory facility appointments including: provider schedules, radiology, surgery, procedures and physical therapy appointments. Other duties include responsibility for obtaining pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for outpatient and inpatient surgical, radiological, and various other appointment types.

After completing his bachelor's degree in biology at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, New York. Following medical school, Dr. Johnson completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery and general surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York.

Pain in the knee can be the result of a condition that has developed over time or from overuse like osteoarthritis, arthritis, and runner’s knee, or from the occurrence of a recent sports injury, such as a meniscus tear or dislocated kneecap. In some circumstances, and if not identified early on, conditions like knee arthritis may create extreme bone and joint discomfort, making knee surgery, such as knee replacement, total knee arthroplasty, or knee arthroscopy, possible options to relieving your knee pain.
