Kajun Twist

This place is about a 3 minute drive from my house right across the Galliano bridge, next to the Galliano Catholic church. It is small and doesn't have an extensive menu, but what they do have is VERY good. I think it is hard to find better fried chicken anywhere. It is a bit pricey, but so good! The po boys are excellent, with so many shrimp they spill out from the bread! And they have one of the best roast beef poboys anywhere. My grandkids even love their fried egg and ketchup sandwiches! When this place, originally called the Galliano Twist, was in it's early stages in the 60s, I worked there for almost 2 years. The chicken is the same. Fabulous! Different owners, but still great food. Great place to eat, great service and good location.
