This is one of the last hometown pharmacies still around today and that is a tragedy for the public in whole. It is almost an anachronism in today's large multinational companies that you are never sure who you are placing your life in their hands. This is not an overstatement, but when I walk through the door, I am immediately greeted with my name by someone that knows as much about my health problems as my physician. And I know that on one or two of my meds are just a bit cheaper right down the road but it is worth the one or two dollars to have the comfort in knowing that I am not just a customer with a non discript RX #, but a name and the pharmacist not only knows about my health but also my family and always makes a point to ask about them also. If we do not support our local businesses, we will forever lose that close and personal care!
All I can say is the pharmacist are always so nice and helpful. the girls that work in there are always so kind and helpful and for a person without insurance their prices are good. The only thing I don't like is the parking . sometimes people be trying to back out while people are pulling in the parking lot. I've almost got hit a couple times so I learnt my lesson now I park to the side by Dairy Queen .
Riverside Pharmacy reminds me of going to see an old friend, when you walk through the door you get a smile, howdy, come on in and sit a spell welcome. If you go in there feeling grumpy ,you come out rejuvinated! Mr. Gee, Scotty, and all the girls take care of you just like Family! Occasionally you can go by and you just might get a piece of chocolate cake.
The take care clinic is horribly slow. One hour per patient!! We have been here almost two hours for a physical!!! We were 2nd here this morning and we are still waiting. Not to mention the rude nurse!! Never again!!!!!
