Tims Tax Service LLC was started in 2005 to provide the residents of Washington County Maryland and the surrounding area with a tax preparation professional that would provide them with a tax service that was unique with it's Pick Up and Delivery Service. In 2009 we have expanded to a second office in Funkstown, formally "The Bottom Line" tax service operated by Lance Gercke. Lance passed away, but before he did, he chose us to continue to service his existing clients. We only use tax software that is accepted by the IRS by December prior to the current tax season. You will never hear that we cannot do your return because our software has not been accepted by the IRS. Tim is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents You can be assured that both Tina and Tim have met or exceeded all requirements or recommendations, proposed by either the Internal Revenue Service or any of the 50 states to be in compliant with all rules and regulations. Everyone associated with Tims Tax Service LLC has completed an intensive 11 week classroom course, as well as numerous online courses offered through the IRS. Tim has had his application to become an Enrolled Agent accepted by the IRS. This designation allows Tim the privilege to practice before the IRS regarding any tax matters that you may have. We receive constant updates from the IRS regarding tax law changes. The tax code is over 13,000 pages and constantly changing.
