Dr. Richard Moors provides general ophthalmic services and specializes in cataracts. He is one of eight partners at EYE-Q. He has performed over 10,000 surgeries, and was one of the first surgeons in the Central Valley to offer the new Alcon ReSTOR® multifocal intraocular lens. Dr. Moors is originally from Washington and earned his medical degree from the University Of Washington School Of Medicine. Following his internship at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, he served three years as a flight surgeon in the United States Navy. He then returned to USC for specialty training in ophthalmology. Dr. Moors is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He was a leading clinical investigator for the STARR surgical foldable intraocular lens. In his free time, Dr. Moors enjoys aerobatic stunt flying, skiing and scuba diving.
