        My mother was in the Shalimar ...

        My mother was in the Shalimar Gardens Memory Support Unit for the last weeks of her life. The staff there was excellent: competent, attentive, and friendly. The staffing level seemed appropriate, and response times to address resident needs were short. Staff always seemed readily available to answer questions or address needs. The facility was exceptionally clean, well-lit, and cheerily decorated. There are several common areas for use by residents, and the security for residents seemed to be quite good. The food was ample and tasty. Administration at Shalimar Gardens was efficient and straight-forward. In short, we were very pleased with our experience with Shalimar Gardens and recommend it highly to others.
