This place is horribly dirty. There is literally dirt everywhere you look. The stations has caked on nail dust that didn't just get there before I did, it had been there for months. Besides that's their price list is deceiving they charge for every little thing. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!!
I don't understand why this place has only 2 stars. I walked in on a whim and got one of the best pedicures ever. The salon is clean, quiet, and bea…
The people were nice but the prices are ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! Came in for a full set, NOTHING fancy, and a toe nail polish change and was charged $72 ($1 for using credit card, $63 for nails and $8 for polish change). When I called, I was told my total for a full set acrylic would be $23 + $3 for take off. He mumbled my total after he was done (which sounded like $52 which is still steep but I wouldn't have complained) but when he rung up $72!!! and ACTUALLY charged a $1 for credit when my total was already $71 for some damn nails!! I will NEVER be patronizing this establishment EVER. I will continue to go to Lucky Nails on Gratiot and Metro Parkway. He is not extremely cheap but he does good work at way better prices! My advice is to go somewhere else!
I recently tried to get an eyebrow waxing appointment. I called earlier in the day asked them the hours they said they closed at 8 on tbat pRticular day and I also asked if they took walk ins. I was told they did. I showed up at 6:30 p.m. door was locked. A woman came to the door said "sorry everyone has left." She didn't even ask what I was there for or anything. I won't be going back there again.
THE PLACE RECENTLY GRANG OPENINGITS LOOK NICE AND SUPPER CLEANALL STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY, THEY ALSO HAVE LONG EXPERIENCE IN ALL THEY DO
Went there for shellac and it doesn't last as long.. Wanted nail art on my toes and they said yes yes I can do and when it was time it looked like my 2 year old nephew did it.. Then the girl said I can do and it was even worse! I told them no art just color and they were very rude to me! It doesn't seem very clean inside there either!
I recently went to Salon Inspire after reading reviews on a few other sites. I have to say I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I called the morning of and requested a color correction that day bc I was in a bind (this is not my normal salon) and while I do appreciate them squeezing me in, I now fully regret going there. When I first sat down I should have trusted my instinct and left. They allowed someone who has had there chair for less than two months attempt a color correction on me! I left with my hair more orange than when I arrived!! I called back about an hour later the manager said the owner would fix my hair a few days later. Well, when I arrived I was approached by someone who has only worked at the salon for less than two years. I asked her to put a toner over the brassiness of the last toner they put on me. She suggested more highlights. I asked her numerous times to put a brass banishing (violet) toner on my hair. She said that was what the purple shampoo was for. Purple shampoo is not a toner!! I get my hair done at a very reputable salon in the area and never once have they not toned my blonde. Seeing I was still upset, she said she would write me up a ticket for payment. I had to pay again for a product that didn't correct the problem!! Never once was I approached by the owner or management!! While the stylists may be nice (I tipped twenty dollars both times, even though I was unhappy), this salon is completely unprofessional. It seems to me that they need to take some classes and continue their education. STICK TO PERMS SALON INSPIRE!! Thanks for charging me $150 dollars for a complete waste of time.
It had been way too long since I had gone to a stylist (my hair goddess moved to California) and I finally had it with my hair. I went onto groupon and matched some local salons with customer reviews to see what my best fit would be. I wanted some place nice and hip and I know that usually means paying a bit extra, so I figured with a groupon I could test the waters, so to speak. I called early and got an appointment at the time I wanted that same day. I also specifically asked for someone on the youngish side and/or edgy as I like someone who also isn't afraid to go extreme. I was taking a foot or two of hair off plus partial highlights. I was paired up with Joan and it couldn't have been more perfect! I gave her my hair story;), a general idea of what I envisioned, and Joan made it a reality! Salon Indigo and Joan have a new client in me! (P.S. I noticed there are quite a few really great stylists there for everybody, so don't hog Joan!;)
i will never go back. i was getting my hair cut and in the middle was left sitting while the girl worked on someone else. unfriendly and costlt. $35 a cut with no wash. r u kidding me.
I love this nail salon! I drive 20 miles just to get my nails done. I always do designs on all my fingers which is really cheap! only $10 extra. They do all the designs by hand and im always pleased with the outcome. i would NEVER go anywhere else to get my nails done.To the person below me that said they had a bad experience I totally disagree.... the salon is clean & yaya is always buying new items for the store. I know this because i go there every 2 weeks. There is sometimes a wait if you go after work but, you can always call ahead and check if there busy. You won't regret going to this salon.
