The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA) provides library and informational resources and services to the residents of Kentucky. The agency houses a collection of audiobooks, test study guides, books, DVDs and videos. It also specializes in federal government documents, state archive collections, state government publications and other Kentucky manuscript repositories. The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives administrative services division provides administrative support. It offers supports to the programs of the department in the areas of fiscal, grants, contracts, facilities management, information technology, telecommunications and shipping. The agency s field services division offers support to public libraries to provide library services to the citizens of Kentucky. Located in Frankfort, Ky., it is a part of the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
