STAY AWAY FROM SNK



We paid almost $9K for a fence around our property as well as a dog pen. The owner saw our dogs when we signed the contract. When the pen was being installed it was pointed out to me by one of the installers that my dogs could go right through it since we chose a criss cross pattern. We have big dogs but this gap was enormous. We had the install stopped and the owner was called to my house. I was told that basically it was tough since it was what we chose and that she (the owner) would NEVER tell anyone what not to order since “she doesn’t do that.” I guess it doesn’t matter if it suits her customer’s needs or not, as long as she’s selling expensive fence. I told her I was looking at a 4 inch picture in her catalog when we chose the style and couldn’t tell how big the opening was and that as an “expert” I expected she would have educated me. Now my husband has to put holes in the vinyl to put up chicken wire at our expense. We paid between $4 and $5K for the dog pen and it’s useless without chicken wire. The owner got so loud with me I think my neighbors heard her. Then she told me that none of her workers said anything to me about the gap in the fence. So I was a liar as well. Then she called my husband at work and told him I shut my door in her face. She had no solutions for me, even after we told her we were going to have to put up chicken wire. I spoke to one of her installers after she left (and was finished berating me) and told him SNK Fence should either offer to put up the chicken wire for us at their expense or at least reimburse us for what it would cost us to do. He said he would discuss it with the owner. On day two of the install, nothing was said to us so clearly no one cared about doing a thing for us. If I went to a Chevy dealership and said I wanted a car that got 40 miles to the gallon and pointed at a Corvette, I would expect that the salesperson would tell me that wasn’t the car for me. Likewise, I would expect that owners of fence companies who sell fence for a living know what they’re selling. If the owner doesn’t know what her product can do and it’s functionality she should get out of the business. Then to berate a customer at their front door and call them a liar is inexcusable. If they’re the last fence company on earth don’t use them. The owner was absolutely unconcerned with the fact that the $4 - $5K dog pen was useless and that a customer was upset. She just wanted her money. She was rude, implied I was a liar, was ill-informed about her product and unwilling to make restitution. What a way to do business.

SNK fixed both of my gates. My driveway gate and backyard gate. I actually have chain link in the front and vinyl in the back. They did a great job with the repairs. They both now swing open right and close at a proper speed. They were professional, competitive pricing and prompt with my work.

SNK did a very shoddy job. It was clear they didn't care and they were very rude on the day of installation. They left without properly finishing the job and were reluctant to come back. One of the gates was installed without a spring and lock and the other gate did not close properly. Months later I noticed that the fencing facing my neighbors had a large dent in it from being thrown off the truck that day. I did not bother calling them back because it was such a bad and stressful experience. I highly doubt all of the positive reviews here were written by actual customers. Fake reviews happen when the companies write them themselves. You'll notice that SNK is not on Angie's list--a review site where it is hard for a company to write fake reviews about themselves. I would never recommend or use them again. If it were possible to give zero stars I would.

I am very happy with SNK Fence. They came on time for the estimate and were professional. Their price quote was fair and scheduled the job in 2 weeks. All the employees were on time, worked hard and got the job done fast. The fence was a simple board on board with a retaining wall and gate. They completed it in 2 days and did a great job with the clean up.

SNK Fence really gave me an awesome deal. I have two young children and I wanted to fence-in my back yard so they won’t get out. I even had the fence I wanted picked out. All I needed was someone to install it and I couldn't find a good place that would do it for a fair price. That is, until I found SNK Fence. They gave me great price and told me it would be done very quickly. Well a few days later they came over to install the fence and in no time it was finished.

We just recently had a pool installed and per state law we need a fence around our yard. We heard that SNK was great company through a friend of ours who also had work done by them. We gave them a visit and after talking about styles and prices we settled on a nice vinyl fence. It was cheap and it looked great too! They got here the next day and installed everything themselves. And they did a wonderful job. They were friendly and fast and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to new fencing!

We had a very good experience with SNK. So good that I actually took time to give them a good review. Everything was easy, from picking out our new fence, from them being on time to install and really providing a quality product. The vinyl fence they put in will last for a long time so I know I won’t have to worry about spending money for fencing anytime soon.

I contacted them through their website and a half hour later I was contacted back. I’m a new home owner and I wasn’t sure of everything that was needed when purchasing a new fence. SNK really educated me and the entire job went smooth. They couldn’t have done a better job.

Last July, my wife and I contacted SNK Fence regarding replacing the wood fence in our backyard with vinyl fencing, replacement of all wood picket fence in the front yard with vinyl picket fencing and a new vinyl pergola across our driveway with a large double gate and new gates throughout our property. Once we confirmed the design plan, the SNK crew got started immediately. The job soon took on a life of its own and David and his crew were ready and willing to be flexible and get the job done. It is a pleasure to work with a professional company that understands the meaning of good communication and customer service. The project came out perfect and we are very happy with our new fence, gates and pergola. We look forward to a new deck that SNK fence is now building in our backyard.

I am so thankful to SNK fence for fixing my gate. I had an issue with it ever since carl's fence installed it. I live off a busy road so it's important for the gate to always be closed. For all fencing repairs I will be calling snk now!

S.N.K. Fence company is great! Tom Nitting came out in no time at all for an estimate and we signed a contract on the spot S.N.K. was able to get my job done in no time at all. I have to say that this company was the most knowable out of all the companies that came out for an estimate. And their work goes to prove that. They built me a OUTSTANDING vinyl fence. I'm estatic about it! For any new people looking at these reviews, it's common sense to look at how many great reviews this company has over a couple bad. Go with the great reviews. This is a great company to work with!! I guess that goes to show you that you can't make EVERYONE happy. And if I am reading right, this company has been in business since 2001. S.N.K. Our experience with SNK Fence was very poor. The workers were rude and left our job without properly finishing it. They just got in the car and left without asking us to look over the work. When I called to have the work fixed, I was greeted with more rude customer service. I had to call several times due to the problems with the installation and I was shocked at how unfriendly they were. Since then I have had further problems with our gates and they have refused to help me. It was one of the worst experiences I have had with any company.

The fence is the best looking in the neighborhood! The quality of the vinyl is excellent; the workmanship is the best; the installers were knowledgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend S.N.K. Fence Company to anyone. We intend to use them again for an arbor.
