I have been consigning clothes, accessories, shoes and household items at Green Door since 2013 - it's a downtown gem! The original owner was great - she recently sold the shop and I've had multiple experiences with the new owners. They are both very friendly and have really made some nice updates to the shop! This is consigning, not a thrift shop - here's a couple things to know: You do need an appointment to consign your items, and you can only consign 20 items at a time. They determine the price and only take clothing that is in good condition and seasonally-appropriate. They go through everything during your appointment and will respectfully decline items that they aren't interested in (usually due to condition, having too many similar items on the floor currently, item is out of season, or the item isn't something their buyers are typically interested in). Items "expire" after 90 days and it's up to you to call to have your items pulled for pickup or they become the property of the shop and you can choose to cash out your balance or use it as store credit. I recommend you checkout this shop both as a consignor and/or shopper!

I went to Green Door Consignment today, December 2, 2015 around 2:00 to see about consigning my dress. Being new to the process, I had a few questions. After the third question, the woman behind the desk decided to take offense and refused to do business with me! I was shocked!!! But, lesson learned. I will never go back.
