General Info: Citrus Elementary School, located in Upland, Calif., is part of Upland Unified School District. It enrolls more than 750 students in grades kindergarten through six. A strong partnership with parents is an important factor in providing a successful academic program for all students. It covers core curricular subjects, including English, mathematics, social science and science. For elementary grades its library has a literature list that is a tradition for more than 15 years. The school offers a before and after school daycare program. Students are encouraged to participate in activities, such as crafts, singing, puppetry, cooking and sports, including softball, basketball and volleyball.
